• Dear MSE Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

Please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Megan Sanford and I am proud to join the team at Main Street Elementary as I serve in the role of Principal for the 2017-2018 school year.  I am thrilled to support the students and families of Main Street Elementary and look forward to working with each of you and your child(ren)!

For the past three years, I have supported students in the Lincoln County R-III School District as the Principal at Hawk Point Elementary.  Before joining our district, I served as an Assistant Principal in the Wright City R-II School District, and a teacher in the Orchard Farm School District.  I look forward to learning more about our students and families at Main Street Elementary as we work together to help our students grow.

As we attend events at Main Street Elementary together, you may see my family joining in the fun.  I am lucky to spend each day with my sons, Carter and Cooper, and my husband Jack.  We love spending time outdoors, fishing and swimming at the lake, finding trails in the woods, or learning teamwork on the sports field.

Communication between school and home is critical, as it helps us work as a team to support your child and their growth as an individual.  I would like to invite you to contact me to share any questions or feedback regarding Main Street Elementary.  I would love to hear about what makes you proud to send your child to our school each day!  Please feel free to contact me through email at sanfordm@troy.k12.mo.us or in the offices at Main Street Elementary at 636-528-4809.

As we get closer to the start of the 2017-2018 school year, I will be sending out information regarding back to school events, which will include a meet and greet event where you are able to meet staff members who are new to our team at MSE.  Our team is looking forward to welcoming students and families to a new school year!

Thank you for your support this year as we work together to ensure that each child is successful at Main Street Elementary!

    Proud to be a Lion,

    Megan Sanford, Ed. S.
