This will be a fun, pressure free way to explore types of art that won’t be taught in art class.

Drama Club is a time for students to meet new friends & have fun playing drama games & exploring the world of theatre.

Troy Jr. FFA – Open to all TMS students
FFA is a national organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Our goal at TMS is to provide all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade member’s an opportunity to gather with friends, assist the community and learn more about the world of agriculture.
There will be various after school events students may also attend if they wish. Students will need to listen to the daily announcements, sign up for reminder messages, and check the FFA information board for news about upcoming activities.
Meeting times: 1ST Semester (August until December) from 7:20 AM – 7:45 AM

FOR (Friends of Rachel) Character Club – Open to all TMS students
For Council is an opportunity for students to positively impact TMS and the community. The council has regulations for its members and is seeking students who want to make a difference!
FOR Council is composed of Character Council and Rachel’s Challenge components.
FOR Council Events & Activities include food drive to benefit local food pantry, Ronald McDonald tab drive, promote positive culture within TMS, park cleanup within the community, new student committee, kindness event committee.

Technology Student Association (TSA) & Robotics – Open to all TMS students
TSA fosters personal growth, leadership & opportunities in technology, innovation, design & engineering. TSA is a national organization that has regional, state & national competitions.
TSA Meeting times: TSA will meet on the 1st Tuesday of the month after school until 4:00 PM in Room #205
Robotics Meeting times: Robotics will meet on Thursdays in Room #205 after school until 4:00 pm

Jazz Lab Band Club - Open to all 7th & 8th Grade TMS & TSMS students
Jazz Lab Band is an extracurricular music ensemble for 7th& 8th graders at TMS & TSMS. This group will prepare various swing, Latin and funk music to learn about improvisation, jazz history, & jazz technique.
Instruments included in jazz band are saxophone, trumpet, trombone, electric guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboard, and drum set. Other instruments may be included at the discretion of the director.
Auditions that will be held in November.
Meeting times: Rehearsals will be held once a week, December through May
Students will perform two concerts in conjunction with the high school jazz bands.

Show Choir (Competitive) – Open to 7th and 8th grade TMS & TSMS students
Tonali-T is a competitive show choir that combines TMS & TSMS students. Auditions are held in the spring for the next school year. Students must be enrolled in choir to participate. Look for more information throughout the year & sign up for tryouts.
Fee: $400.00 includes clothing & travel costs. Other fees may apply.
