LCR3 believes communication with parents and the community is important. Click on the List below to find the best ways to stay informed, particularly during an emergency. During an emergency, our goal is to get as much information out as fast as possible using as many channels of communication to accommodate a variety of preferences. The communication methods listed are all official means of communication from the district.

Parent Alert Phone Calls
Calls Durning the school day or early morning are reserved for emergencies or important information, such as school closings or delays. Evening calls may be used for general information, absence notices, and lunch account reminders.
- Keep your primary phone number up-to-date with your child's school. You can call 636.462.6098 choose ext. 1 for assistance as well.

Parent Alert Email
In an emergency, Lincoln County R-III School District may send detailed information to you through email. If something important happens during the day, you may receive a “letter home to parents” through email. Also, look for general information emails.
- Keep your primary email address up to date with your child’s school. Make sure your spam folder isn’t blocking emails from LCR3. Please do not unsubscribe from school email.

In an emergency, Lincoln County R-III School District may communicate with you via text messaging. If something important happens during the day, you may receive a message via text. Also, look for general reminder messages.
- Keep your mobile phone number up to date with your child’s school. Please do not unsubscribe from school text messages. You can contact the Community Relations department at 636.462.6098 ext 1 for assistance as well.

Web Alert
Lincoln County R-III School District may activate the web alert system during an emergency or weather event. It places important information in the center of the District’s website homepage.

The Tyler Parent Portal gives you confidential access to your child’s grades, attendance, schedule, lunch balance, and teacher contacts.

Most of our schools send out a monthly newsletter that will help keep you up to date on events and other important news in your child’s building.
