LCR3 Virtual Families,
The District and Board of Education are excited to announce that we will be pursuing the creation of a K-5 virtual academy to provide further support to LCR3 virtual learners and educators. District-wide we have 28 K-5 educators that are providing full-time services to approximately 691 LCR3 students in a virtual setting, including your child(ren). Our goal is to utilize this opportunity to provide a more collaborative and cohesive learning experience for you, your child, and our educators.
To lead the Virtual Academy, the District has selected current Lincoln Elementary Assistant Principal, Mrs. Rachel Enos. Mrs. Enos is a life-long resident of Lincoln County and an alumna of Troy Buchanan High School. She joined the LCR3 family as an educator in 2007 and has served the District in multiple capacities including teaching first grade at both Lincoln Elementary and Cuivre Park Elementary, Summer School Intern Principal at Main Street Elementary, and her current role, Assistant Principal at Lincoln Elementary.
Our goal with the creation of the LCR3 Virtual Academy is to dedicate administrative and curricular support to all virtual stakeholders while continuing to provide trusting relationships and superior instruction. Mrs. Enos will transition into this new role at the beginning of the second quarter. Until you receive further information from Mrs. Enos, please continue to reach out to your child’s home school.
Mrs. Enos will be sending an introduction and further details on the Virtual Academy in the coming week.
