We meet the first and third Fridays of the month, unless for some reason, Mrs. Krumlinde is not in the building that day.Our service project for the 2016-2017 school year was a quilt for Quilts of Valor. Students paid 25 cents to put a message in a heart on the quilt. Sewing Club quilted it, then donated it to Quilts of Valor.Other first projects included a zippered pouch and a potpouri bag.Our serivce project for the 2017-2018 school year will be lap quilts, which will be donated to a local nursing home, after they are entered in the Pieces of the Heart quilt show in Wentzville.Be thinking about what you would like to make next.
