    Gateway Reader/Selectors
Love to read?  Want to help select the Gateway Award Books for the following year?  Students must be able to read and rank 25 books between the beginning of the school year and December 1.  This vote, along with students and librarians across Missouri, will determine the next year's Gateway Award Books.  TBHS has been involved since the pilot program for the Gateway Award Books began in the  2000-2001 school year.

    Congressional Award
Students pay a one time fee of $15.00 when registering, then set goals in personal development, public service, physical fitness and exploration/expedition, tracking hours in each area.  Students can earn a bronze, silver and gold certificate, then a bronze, silver and gold medal.  See Mrs. Venneman in the Library.
