Important Note: If a senior wants to be recognized in the graduation program, all requirements (including the 50 tutoring hours) must be met by Thursday, April 30th. To be recognized at Senior Scholarship Night all tutoring hours must be complete by April 28th. Please note that seniors will be able to turn in tutoring hours until 3pm on May 7th.
College & Career
Spring Job Shadowing registration opened January 27th and runs through February 10th. Students must register for a job shadow first and will select their job shadow experience between February 24th and March 2nd. Job shadows will occur from March 30th-April 17th. Please contact Ms. Backer if you have any questions.
Seniors - If you have not already completed the FAFSA, now is the time to do it. Financial aid packages from colleges will not be calculated for students who do not submit a FAFSA. For questions on completing your FAFSA, please contact Ms. Backer, the College & career Counselor, at backera@troy.k12.mo.us.
Juniors & Sophomores - Registration for next year's classes is beginning now so please be thinking about your post-secondary plans. The classes you take in high school have a direct impact on college success. If you are college bound, taking four years of math and two years of a foreign language will open the most doors for college admission. If you have any questions about your future plans or just need a little help brainstorming your options, please see Ms. Backer in Room 112.
