Tryout Card and Requirements for Sports

EffTrojan Logo ective immediately, all physicals and paperwork must be turned into the athletic office prior to tryouts/practices.  Eligibility requirements for sports will now be checked before an athlete can participate. 

  • Athletes must have the MSHSAA 2-year Physical
  • MSHSAA Pre-Participation Documentation
  • Handbook/Drug Form on file.

The following eligibility requirements will also be checked

  • Enrolled in at least 8 courses
  • Passed at least 8 courses the previous semester
  • All fines must be paid prior to tryouts/practices

The activities office will complete the back of the tryout card and return to the athlete when all requirements are met.  The tryout card must be given to the coach on or prior to the first day of tryouts.

Athletes will not be allowed to tryout/practice without the signed tryout card.  Tryout cards are available to pick up in the office at the high school.
