The following important information is in regards to the New Horizons High School Graduation Ceremony scheduled for Thursday, July 9 at the Hungate Performing Arts Center at Troy Buchanan High School.  In order to keep safety as our top priority, and to allow for social distancing, we have decided to hold the New Horizons graduation in two separate ceremonies.

Seniors who attended Session 1 during the school year will have their graduation as previously scheduled at 6:00p.m.  Seniors who attended Session 2 during the school year will have their ceremony at 7:15p.m.  By splitting into two groups we can keep attendance numbers at the Hungate Performing Arts Center low enough for graduates, guests, and staff to practice social distancing. To further encourage the health and safety of all, the Lincoln County Health Department and the Lincoln County R-III School District highly recommend and strongly encourage all graduates and attendees to wear a face mask to this event.

We anticipate that each ceremony will last about 30 minutes.  The time allotted between ceremonies allows for guests from the first event to leave and cleaning procedures to be completed prior to the guests for the second ceremony to arrive. The evening’s schedule will be as follows:

Session 1-6:00p.m.
The HPAC main doors will open at 5:30p.m. Graduates should arrive by 5:45p.m. and report to the ready room to the left of the stage.  Due to the tight schedule in between graduations we ask that all session 1 guests leave the TBHS campus as soon as their ceremony is completed.

Session 2-7:15p.m.
The HPAC main doors will reopen at 6:55p.m. Graduates should report to the ready room to the left of the stage by 7:00p.m.  Session 2 Seniors and guests should NOT enter the PAC until Session 1 ceremony is over and the doors are reopened and those guests have vacated the area and cleaning procedures have been completed.
