Professional Development
Professional Development
The Lincoln County R-III School District is a professional learning community (PLC) committed to providing the highest quality professional development to our faculty and staff. Through ongoing professional development and early out Wednesdays, our educators continually work and collaborate together to ensure that every student in our district receives effective educational skills.
Mission Statement: Professional development is a teacher's continuous process of refining skill development from the time of recruiting until retirement. It is expanding one's academic knowledge and experiences to facilitate student learning. It is setting personal and professional goals and establishing a means to achieve these goals. It is growth of individuals within each group resulting in interdependence among the team. The District Professional Development Committee (DPDC) strives to provide opportunities for professional growth experiences that relate to these needs of the teaching staff.
