A-F School and District Report Cards
In 2026, Missouri will begin assigning letter grades to public and charter schools and districts statewide. This grading system aims to make school performance information easier for families and communities to understand. It is based on student academic performance and growth in specific core subjects, along with 4-year graduation rates and college and career readiness for grades 9-12.
This new framework is in addition to the Annual Performance Report (APR), which Missouri has been using for years to help determine each district’s accreditation.
Below are frequently asked questions about the new A-F framework.
